ANNOUNCES NEW HOTEL HIGH SPEED
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS
Jackson, Miss. – Cabot Lodge Millsaps in Jackson, Miss. has announced a new addition to their services. The hotel has installed high-speed wireless Internet access provided by Air2Lan.
The installation of this wireless technology is a progressive step in Cabot’s longstanding tradition of offering and introducing innovative new services to travelers when they need it most.
LAN access will enable guests to create virtual workshops in meeting rooms, lobbies and other public areas in the hotel, stay in touch with clients and co-workers and collaborate with team members worldwide. In addition, guests can produce interactive presentations and training opportunities, participate in web-enabled, bandwidth-intensive product demonstrations, online conferencing, gain e-mail access for meeting attendees and admission to Corporate Network Access. The “Always On” connectivity allows meeting planners to accommodate connectivity requests on short notice eliminating costly telephone surcharges with leasing T-1 Circuits.

In fact, meeting planners who need to accommodate video conferencing, Web seminars and online demonstrations, increasingly require some type of hotel high-speed Internet access when selecting a site for meetings. We are proud to offer this tool and look forward to helping travelers communicate quickly and conveniently, without being hampered by slow connections."
Cabot’s high-speed Internet service is easy to use and will be fully compatible to most computers that have Windows 98 or later operating systems and other wireless LAN-capable laptop computers, tablet PCs and PDAs that operate on Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Unix and Linux operating systems.
Signage will be located in the hotel public areas to identify where wireless high-speed Internet access points are available. By following a simple set of on-screen instructions from their Internet connection application, guests will be able to surf wirelessly on the 50 times faster than a dial-up connection.
Cabot Lodge Millsaps offers six meeting rooms and easy access to Mississippi's State Capital, Millsaps College, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Belhaven College and the Jackson International Airport.
